This is the chief minister’s dream project. Under this, solar plants of 25 kW capacity will be set up across the state. The nature of Mukhyamantri Saur Urja Swarozgar Yojana has been prepared in such a way that a person with a capital of one and a half to 2.5 lakh rupees can start the project with the help of the government.

Mukhyamantri Saur Swarojgar Yojana Main benefits of:-

• Mukhyamantri Saur Swarojgar Yojana The benefit of this scheme will be given to unemployed youth of Uttarakhand, farmers and migrant laborers who have returned to Uttarakhand.
• Through this scheme, maximum use of solar energy will be made.
• Mukhyamantri Saur Swarojgar Yojana Under this, employment opportunities in the field of solar energy will be provided to the unemployed youth of the state, farmers and migrant laborers who have returned to Uttarakhand.
• Under this scheme, 10 thousand unemployed youth of the state will be provided self-employment.
• Under this scheme, 70% of the total amount will be given loan and 30% subsidy will be given for setting up solar plants.

Mukhyamantri Saur Swarojgar Yojana Loan for :-

• Under this scheme, the beneficiary will be able to take 70% of the project cost from the state and district cooperative banks at the rate of 8% interest as a loan and the remaining amount will be borne by the beneficiary concerned as margin money.
• Uttarakhand Solar Energy Self Employment Scheme Under the co-operative bank, loan will be given for a period of 15 years.
• Under this scheme, this grant will be up to 30% in marginal districts of the state, up to 25% in hilly districts and up to 15% in other districts.

Mukhyamantri Saur Swarojgar Yojana Eligibility Criteria for Eligibility Criteria :-

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
• Under this scheme only unemployed youth, farmers and migrants of the state will be considered eligible.
• The entrepreneurial youth, rural unemployed and farmers of the state should be above 18 years of age.
• There is no requirement of educational qualification to get self-employment under this scheme.
• Applicants without any educational qualification can also apply in this scheme and can take advantage of the scheme.
• In this scheme only one solar power plant will be allotted to a person.
