Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 was launched on 10 August 2021 by Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which refill and hot plate, LPG gas will be provided free of cost to the beneficiaries. Interest-free loan will also be provided to the beneficiaries to buy gas stoves. Under this scheme, the beneficiaries are not required to submit address proof and ration card and along with this the paperwork has also been simplified.
