Indian Board of School Education – iBose Board

Indian Board of School Education ( IBOSE ) is a board of education for private education under the Government of India . It was established by S.R. Established in 2007 under the Government of India ‘s Act XXX of 1860 [1] to provide affordable education in remote areas, IBOSE is a national board that conducts examinations for secondary and senior secondary examinations of schools.

It had an enrollment of about thousands of students at secondary and senior secondary level from 2008-2015 and about one thousand students were enrolled annually which makes it the largest private schooling system in India.

Indian Board of School Education has Regional Information Centers or Study Centers all over India.

Indian Board of School Education Syllabus

Indian Board of School Education offers the following courses:

  • Secondary Course – Equivalent to Class X (10TH)
  • Senior Secondary Course – Equivalent to Class XII (12th)

The public examinations are conducted in the month of March-April on the dates fixed by the Indian Board of School Education.
