Features of Inter-Caste Marriage Scheme 2021

Under this scheme, Rs. 50000 will be provided by the state government and Rs. 2.50 lakh by Dr. Ambedkar Foundation. A total assistance of Rs. 3 lakh will be provided.
Under the Inter-Caste Marriage Scheme 2021, bringing equality in all religions and ending caste discrimination.
The assistance given under this scheme will be provided to such candidates, who have married a young man and a girl belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
The assistance amount given under the Maharashtra Inter-caste Marriage Scheme 2021 will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiaries. Therefore, the applicant must have a proper and active savings bank account and the bank account should be linked with Aadhaar.

What is the Intercaste Marriage Scheme Eligibility?

The applicant for inter caste marriage must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra.
The benefit of this scheme will be available only to those whose age should be 21 years of youth and 18 years of girl child.
The benefit of this scheme will be available only to those who belong to one of the scheduled castes or tribes of the married couple.
Under this scheme, married couples will have to get the marriage registered in the court.
