What is Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana (Rail KVY)?

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on September 17, 2021, in the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, this Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana – Short-term Training Program had started.

Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana 75 years of independence under ‘Azadi’s nectar festival’ With the aim of providing entry level training ie entry level training in Industry Relevant Skills to the youth by Railway Training Institutes/ Institutes.

Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana Under this, 50,000 (fifty thousand) candidate youth will be provided free railway training in three years. Till now in 10 months from the start of the scheme, under this scheme total 8.60 thousand Education has been provided to the candidates.

Thus, if this rate is followed, then the scheme will not be successful in its first three year phase. Therefore, this skill development scheme will be extended. Now this Rail Training Scheme will have to meet its targets in the coming years by about 2024.

Who can apply for Rail KVY?

• The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
• Applicant’s age should be 18 and above.
• The age of the applicant under the Rail Scheme should not be more than 35 years.
• The applicant must have passed high school (10th) from a government recognized school.
• Most importantly the applicant must be physically and mentally fit. So that the industry can take work and training in the environment.

Rail Kaushal Vikas Yojana Notification 2024 [Last Date]

Under Rail Skill Development Scheme 100 hours (theory 40hrs and practical 60hrs) ie approx 40 days An industry related training is provided.
