Farmers get so much money annually

The benefit of the scheme is available to only those farmers who will have 2 hectares i.e. 5 acres of agricultural land. If someone pays income tax, then those farmers are not given the benefit of the scheme.

Updating E-KYC is mandatory otherwise benefits will not be available

As you know that many ineligible farmers were also taking advantage of PM Kisan Yojana, due to which the eligible were being deprived. In such a situation, to stop this fraud, the government made new rules in which it will be mandatory for the farmers to update their e-KYC by visiting the portal. Those farmers who do not update PM kisan Samman Nidhi E-KYC, their 11th installment will not come in the account and they will stop getting the benefit of this scheme.

To update e-KYC, farmers will first have to visit the official website of PM Kisan at pmkisan.nic.in, after which it will have to be updated by going to the farmer section on the home page and going to the given option of e-KYC update.
