What is Samarth Yojana?

The central government of India has launched this Samarth scheme under its Skill India program. The government wants to expand the country’s textile industry and create new employment opportunities in the field of manufacturing, so that the skilled workers and textile businessmen here can get a worldwide recognition. The central government is to create jobs by training and skill development in the traditional sectors of handloom, handicrafts, sericulture and jute etc. related to the textile industry.

By providing self-employment to people of all social classes across the country, their livelihood has been improved. The government says that through the placement program among the youth receiving training under the scheme 70% The youth will be placed on jobs in different sectors of the textile industry, in which the youth will be given wages equal to the prescribed minimum wage. The government says that at least in traditional areas 50% There should be wage based employment. The students who have completed the training will also be given certificates from the government.

Samarth Yojana

The government will set up recognized societies/agencies to provide training to the youth for employment, which can change the percentage of self-employment and salary by relaxing the criteria of placement in relation to trainings.
